AI & GOVERNANCE
My view is that AI governance should be closely connected to the enterprise architecture function. Reviewing security, data and integration decisions during design helps teams identify constraints early and align AI initiatives with the wider enterprise.
The aim is to make governance useful in delivery. Clear decision rights, coordinated reviews and architecture principles help technology leaders address risk while maintaining momentum. The right structure will depend on the organization, but governance should inform solution design rather than become a separate late-stage hurdle.
