Business Analyst — AI & Enterprise Architecture
Remote · Contract-based · Contracting through RemotePass
Dubai residency is not required. This is a remote engagement, not a Dubai on-site position.
About the role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to translate business needs into clear requirements and practical delivery plans for AI-enabled transformation and Enterprise Architecture initiatives. You will work remotely with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, connecting processes, capabilities, information and technology to measurable business outcomes.
What you will do
- Facilitate remote discovery workshops and interviews to understand business challenges, priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Document current-state processes, pain points, business rules and improvement opportunities; define target-state workflows and requirements.
- Produce clear business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability.
- Support AI use-case discovery and prioritisation, defining intended outcomes, data needs, human approvals, exception paths and evaluation criteria.
- Work with Enterprise Architects to connect requirements to business capabilities, value streams, processes, applications, data and integrations.
- Assess the business impact of proposed changes and maintain alignment between stakeholders, architecture decisions and delivery scope.
- Support backlog refinement, solution walkthroughs, user acceptance testing, defect triage and business sign-off.
- Maintain decision logs and concise documentation, and communicate progress, risks and dependencies across a distributed team.
Required experience
- Previous hands-on Business Analyst experience on AI projects, with clear examples of your contribution from discovery through implementation or validation.
- Previous experience working on Enterprise Architecture projects and collaborating with enterprise, business or solution architects.
- Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, process modelling, stakeholder facilitation and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into testable requirements and explain trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of AI project considerations such as data quality, access controls, human oversight, output evaluation and operational exceptions.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively in remote, multidisciplinary teams.
Useful additional experience
Experience with BPMN, capability mapping, ArchiMate or TOGAF-informed delivery; Jira and Confluence; AI-enabled workflow automation; and architecture repositories such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Orbus Infinity would be valuable.
Engagement arrangements
This is a remote, contract-based engagement, with contracting and onboarding managed through RemotePass. You do not need to be based in Dubai. Contract duration, scope, working-hour overlap and commercial terms will be agreed during recruitment. Engagement remains subject to applicable contracting eligibility and RemotePass onboarding requirements.
